ABOUT

Chenning Rek Yang is a creative producer based in LA and Shanghai.

Born in 2001 in Shanghai, Chenning recently graduated from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and Communication, with a minor in Film & TV. She is now a producing fellow at AFI Conservatory.
Interested in exploring the illusions and borders in intimate relationships, she aspires to tell stories that people from different backgrounds can find a part of themselves as the storyline unfolds.

“After all, stripping away the social status, profession, race, and age of the characters, I am down to tell the stories of humans and the stories between humans.”
